Liberty High Lions are roaring with pride as we congratulate our very own Lynette Lewis, who has been recognized as Lodi Unified's 2022-2023 teacher of the year for grades 9-12!
A veteran educator of 30 years, 27 of those with Lodi Unified, Mrs. Lewis has built an illustrious career educating generations of children in mathematics. After 20 years of service at Lodi High, in 2022 Liberty High welcomed Lewis onboard to bring her venerable talent to our Lions pride. An instant success, Lewis quickly established herself at Liberty as a Mary Poppins-like figure with a reputation for turning all she touches into magic. From pre-recording lessons for students who miss class, to opening an on-campus thrift store, student snacks, job board, and even offering tax assistance for our employed students, Lewis is an immediate asset to not only our Liberty High community, but the community of Lodi as a whole.
To Mrs. Lewis: From all of us at Liberty High, it is our great honor and joy to have you at Liberty. We are proud of you and look forward to many more years of your great service to our students and community.

Liberty High students and families: Lace up your snazziest sneakers for an exciting showdown-- The Stockton Kings have invited us to see them take on the Memphis Hustle on Saturday, January 28 at the Stockton Arena for Sneaker Night! Make sure to show up in your favorite sneakers because The Stockton Kings are hosting shoe and vintage clothing companies around the concourse of the Stockton Arena.
And while you're at the Stockton Arena enjoying a great game, you can also enjoy knowing that the proceeds from ticket sales help the Stockton Kings continue to make a difference in our community; last year alone the ticket proceeds helped the Stockton Kings donate 700 toys to local charities, and continue their Fit Kids program to promote health, wellness and education for 2,500 3rd through 5th graders in our community.

Liberty High students and staff gathered together for an evening event of fun and learning at our 2022 Laugh 'N Learn Night! Students had a great time getting fired up for cooking, tuning up their musical skills, and some spent their knights on the chessboard or enjoyed a friendly back-and-forth over the ping pong table. Our stellar teachers here at Liberty were also on hand for one-on-one tutoring and review for any of our students looking to get some work in!
